At least seven Palestinians were killed and ten others wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, health officials said.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said Wednesday that seven bodies had reached hospitals during that period.
Five were newly killed, while two others died from wounds sustained earlier, the ministry’s statement said.
Several victims remained trapped beneath rubble and scattered across roads, it added, their bodies still unrecovered.
Ambulance and civil defense crews could not reach them, the ministry said, describing access as blocked.
Separately, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
A medical source told Anadolu that the strike hit the tent directly, adding to the mounting toll.
That death was recorded separately from the ministry’s latest 24-hour count, officials clarified.
The broader toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire has now climbed to 1,303 people killed, the ministry said.
Another 4,336 people have been wounded since the truce took hold, according to the same tally.
Since Israel launched its offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the human cost has grown staggering.
At least 73,438 Palestinians have been killed and 174,447 wounded, the ministry reported.
Beyond the casualties, the campaign has left Gaza’s landscape in ruins, officials and international bodies say.
Roughly 90% of the territory’s civilian infrastructure has sustained damage, according to United Nations assessments.
The UN estimates reconstruction will cost approximately $70 billion, a figure underscoring the scale of devastation.
For Gaza’s residents, the ceasefire has brought little relief, as death and displacement continue daily.
