Sudan’s RSF captures Suki, declares victory over Burhan-led army

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Thursday that they have successfully captured the town of Suki in Sennar State following intense fighting against Burhan-controlled (SAF) and allied forces.

In a statement, the RSF underlined it had inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, including the neutralization of over 150 combatants and the destruction of multiple vehicles.

The RSF also seized a significant amount of military equipment, including 21 vehicles and a C5 cannon.

The victorious force reported capturing dozens of enemy soldiers and recovering a large cache of weapons and ammunition.

Ongoing operations are targeting fleeing enemy forces.

The RSF reiterated its commitment to ending the ongoing conflict and building a new Sudan based on democratic principles.

They emphasized the goal of forming a unified national army to protect the country and its citizens.
