RSF blames Burhan’s SAF of war crimes in Sudan oil station attack

A devastating drone attack targeted the Al-Ailafoun Oil Station in Sudan, a critical facility supplying oil to South Sudan.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have accused Burhan-controlled SAF and allied “Islamic movement” of orchestrating the assault.

The attack caused significant damage to the station’s PS4 section, leaving several workers severely injured.

RSF condemned the strike, calling it part of a wider campaign by jihadist factions within Burhan-controlled SAF to disrupt Sudan’s vital infrastructure.

RSF spokesperson labelled the attack as a “war crime” and pointed to a broader history of oppression under Burhan-controlled SAF.

The RSF accused the SAF of using such tactics to maintain control through fear and chaos.

RSF vowed to respond swiftly, reaffirming their commitment to resisting what they describe as a corrupt “Islamist” regime.

They warned that continued attacks on infrastructure could lead to further destabilization.

As violence between SAF and RSF escalates, concerns grow over the conflict’s impact on Sudan’s fragile economy and the well-being of its citizens.

The country faces increasing turmoil as both factions blame each other for ongoing destruction.
