Boko Haram attack on Cameroonian military camp kills three

At least three members of the Cameroonian security forces were killed in an armed attack on a military camp in the country’s Far North Region.

The attack, which occurred on Monday, was reportedly carried out by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

The assailants targeted the Ngouma military camp in the Logone-et-Chari department, resulting in the deaths of the security personnel.

During the attack, the assailants also seized weapons and set fire to a military vehicle.

Boko Haram, an extremist group, launched its insurgency in northeastern Nigeria in 2009.

The violence has since spread to neighboring countries, including Cameroon, Niger, and Chad.
