UNICEF condemns killing of 40 children in Sudan

At least 40 children were killed by bombings over three days in Sudan, UNICEF reported.

“Children in Sudan are paying the ultimate price of the relentless fighting,” said UNICEF Representative Annmarie Swai.

The conflict has displaced millions and caused widespread suffering.

The UN has documented over 900 “grave violations” against children since June 2024.

All parties must respect international humanitarian law and cease fighting, UNICEF has said.
