The ongoing initiative has already extended high-speed fiber-optic internet networks to over 1,250 rural Egyptian villages.

Donohoe praised Egypt’s robust digital foundations, noting that sharing global expertise is vital for accelerating modern economic growth.

The World Bank committed to tailoring international best practices to support job creation and build a competitive economy.

Future milestones include increased investment in massive data centers, enhanced data governance, and improved online safety for children.
