20 Killed in terror attack in Mali

At least 20 people have lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Mali.

According to reports in the local media, the village of Diallassagou in the Bandiagara region, located in the central part of the country, came under an armed attack by unidentified individuals.

The attack targeted civilians who were preparing to go to the fields, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 people and injuring 22 others, according to initial assessments.

The Sahel region, known as the “tri-border area” of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, has been subjected to attacks by groups affiliated with the terrorist organizations Al-Qaeda and ISIS in recent years.

Terrorist organizations have continued their attacks in Mali since 2013.
