4 killed in Sudan attack targeting hospital

The Sudanese Doctors Syndicate reported that 4 people were killed and more than 20 people were injured in the shelling of a hospital in the city of Umdurman, west of the capital Khartoum.

In a statement released by the syndicate, “On Monday morning, An-Naw Training Hospital in Odurman was subjected to intense artillery shelling. In the attack, 4 civilians were killed and more than 20 civilians were injured. The hospital was rendered unusable.”

The statement pointed out that the attack was organized after the shelling of Samarab health center in Bahri city north of Khartoum on October 3, which killed 14 people, and stated that this attack is a war crime against innocent civilians.
