Boko Haram kills 20 fishermen in Nigeria

At least 20 fishermen were killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants in Nigeria’s northeastern state of Borno.

The attack occurred on Wednesday when insurgents stormed the fishing community of Gadan Gari, opening fire on fishermen working in the area.

Local residents reported that over 15 bodies had been buried, with one resident confirming the death of his child in the attack.
