In Morocco, vigils organized by the Moroccan Commission for Advocating the Nation’s Causes NGO took place in cities including Tangier and Meknes. Demonstrators passionately called for the urgent rescue of Palestinians and the unimpeded entry of vital humanitarian aid into Gaza. Banners expressing unwavering support for Palestinian groups and their resilience were prominently displayed.
Mauritania’s capital, Nouakchott, witnessed hundreds rallying against Israel’s intensified military operations in Gaza.Protesters waved Palestinian flags high and chanted slogans championing Palestinian resistance. Their voices joined the chorus of international condemnation of the recent surge in violence.
Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, under Houthi control, saw a massive turnout marking International Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day. Tens of thousands marched in unwavering support of Palestine. Similar demonstrations unfolded in Al-Hudaydah, Saada, and Dhale, despite ongoing US raids in Houthi-controlled areas since March 15, linked to the group’s Red Sea actions against Israeli shipping in response to the Gaza conflict.
