FFC of Sudan starts a foreign tour to discuss ways to end war

The Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC), a political coalition in Sudan, announced that they will initiate a series of foreign visits, starting with a visit to Qatar on Wednesday.

This initiative aims to explore solutions to end the ongoing conflict in Sudan that has been ongoing since mid-April.

According to a statement from the alliance, the FFC delegations will visit Qatar, South Sudan, and Kuwait from August 30th to September 6th to discuss ways to end the conflict in Sudan, address the humanitarian crisis affecting Sudanese citizens, restore the civilian democratic path, and review the alliance’s vision to achieve these objectives.

A prominent leader within the FFC stated that the visits will begin in Qatar for five days, during which the delegation will meet with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Qatar. The second visit will take place in Kuwait from September 3rd to 6th to hold consultations with the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker of Kuwait.

Delegations from the FFC alliance and political leaders have commenced foreign visits to several countries approximately two months after the outbreak of the conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
