Kenyan confesses to killing 42 Women, including wife

In Kenya’s capital Nairobi, a suspect detained in connection with the discovery of nine bodies and bags filled with body parts from a dumpsite has confessed to being the killer of 42 women, including his wife.

Police revealed that 33-year-old Collins Jomaisi Khalusha confessed to murdering 42 women since 2022, including his wife. He was arrested yesterday while watching a football match at a bar after forensic analysis of a phone belonging to one of the victims.

Khalusha is expected to appear in court today. During a search of his home, police seized items including 10 phones, a laptop, identity cards, and women’s clothing. They also found a large knife believed to have been used to dismember victims, and nine bags similar to those found containing body parts at the dumpsite.

Police officials stated that a second suspect, who used a phone belonging to one of the victims, has also been arrested and is being considered either an accomplice or a suspect.

The bodies of nine individuals, determined to have died at different times, were found in the Mukuru area of Nairobi on July 12. Initial examinations revealed that eight of the bodies were female. Subsequently, bags filled with body parts were also discovered at the same location.
