A Libyan aid plane carrying 34 tons of supplies has landed in Syria, bringing vital relief to Damascus.
The plane departed Misrata, Libya, on Sunday, carrying food and medical supplies to assist Syria in its transitional phase.
The aid, organized by the Misrata city government, was accompanied by a delegation from the Libyan Red Crescent.
Upon arrival at Damascus Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Syrian Red Crescent representatives and Libyan embassy officials.
Syrian state television confirmed the aid delivery, emphasizing its importance for residents in the capital struggling to recover.
This gesture underscores Libya’s solidarity with Syria as it navigates challenges following the fall of the Assad regime.
