Libyan parliament calls all Israel-supporting ambassadors to leave

The Libyan House of Representatives has called for the immediate departure of ambassadors from countries supporting Israel, considering what is happening in the Gaza Strip as a “genocidal war.”

In a statement, the Libyan representatives also urged a halt to oil and gas exports to these countries if the massacres in Gaza continue, emphasizing the need for an immediate cessation of the aggression.

The statement encouraged the convening of an urgent session at the leadership level within the Arab League and Islamic organizations and called for an emergency session of the United Nations General Assembly in this context. It also expressed opposition to the displacement of the people of the Gaza Strip in any form.

The Libyan House of Representatives criticized visits by the presidents of the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and France to Israel, declaring their full support for Israel in its efforts against the Palestinian people and undermining their legitimate rights to resistance and the establishment of their independent state.

They placed “responsibility on the United States and the West for leading a genocidal war against a besieged and innocent people.” The Libyan House of Representatives called on Arab and Islamic peoples to support their brothers in the Gaza Strip by all means and methods.

The Libyan House of Representatives also criticized “the failure of the official Arab system, especially those involved in the normalization with the occupation, for their inability to take a bold stance that reflects the will of the people. This has led to an inability to provide necessities like medicine, water, food, and fuel amid a strict blockade and systematic mass killings carried out by criminal groups.”
