The leader of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, accused the SAF under Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on Tuesday of using chemical weapons in attacks on multiple towns and cities, causing water contamination.
In a speech to RSF fighters and the Sudanese public, Dagalo said physical evidence pointed to chemical barrel bombs. He also alleged that Egypt continues to support Burhan’s SAF with drones and 32 truckloads of supplies.
Dagalo vowed not to back down, framing the war as a choice between “with us or against us,” and calling for the “total eradication of the cancer.”
He said RSF forces had destroyed 70% of the SAF’s core combat unit, “Sayyad,” and claimed victories in recent battles in Al-Khuwei and Dibeibat, describing them as a “great victory” against SAF troops and foreign fighters, including “ISIS elements.”
Dagalo also said that “ISIS-affiliated forces” were regrouping in al Obeid and pledged further military action.
He promised to build “medical cities” to treat the wounded and urged civilians in Sudan’s Northern State to stay safe. However, he warned those supporting “terrorist SAF leaders and politicians,” naming Ali Karti, Ahmed Haroun, and Osama Abdullah, that they are “legitimate targets” and that RSF has lists of individuals allegedly fueling the war from within Sudan’s Islamic Movement.
