RSF reports elimination of 20 criminals in Gezira clashes

Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) responded to citizen reports in Gezira State’s Katra, engaging in a firefight with criminals involved in looting, resulting in the demise of 20 individuals and injuries to several.

Unfortunately, an RSF officer and two soldiers lost their lives in the clash.

The incident unfolded after Katra residents reported criminal activities, prompting a swift response from RSF forces.

Despite attempts to apprehend the criminals, RSF was fired upon, leading to a fierce battle and the successful neutralization of 20 criminals. RSF is investigating their identities and motives.

The forces also disclosed evidence of former regime and army personnel in RSF uniforms committing crimes in various states. RSF reassures Gezira state residents of their commitment to defeating criminals and ensuring protection.
