General al-Burhan’s SAF’ airstrikes have killed nearly 200 civilians and injured hundreds more in a series of bombings across the country.
SAF Attacks focused on busy markets in towns like Kabkabiya, Al-Kuma, and Melit, as well as the cities of Nyala, El Fasher, and the Khartoum suburb of Hai Mayo.
The most deadly strike occurred in Kabkabiya, where 86 people were killed, many of them local traders.
In Hai Mayo, an airstrike on December 7 killed 28, including those at a petrol station. In Al-Kuma, on December 4, 45 people died and over 200 were injured.
The United Nations condemned the attacks, with UNICEF highlighting the impact on children.
These airstrikes are part of a year-long pattern targeting civilian areas under the control of the RSF. Despite international outrage, the violence shows no sign of easing, leaving civilians trapped in the crossfire of Sudan’s ongoing conflict.
