Sudan backs Saudi Arabia’s bid to host FIFA World Cup in 2034

Osama Atta El Mannan, the Deputy Chairman of the Sudanese Football Association and the Head of the National Teams Committee declared their unlimited support for their brothers in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation regarding Saudi Arabia’s bid to host and organize the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

The Deputy Chairman emphasized that this support is part of the strong ties between the two brotherly nations. He acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s continuous support for the Sudanese people, especially in the sports and football fields.

“Saudi Arabia has been hosting the Sudanese national teams’ training camps with great hospitality, providing all necessary facilities and contributing to the development of Sudanese football. This support leads them to declare their solidarity and backing for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup”. He added.

Osama Atta El Mannan explained, “We are well aware of the capabilities of the Kingdom and its ability to organize and succeed. God willing, they will achieve what they aspire to. We wish them all the best and success. We must express our sincere thanks to our brothers in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and all the people of Saudi Arabia for their contributions to Sudanese football, affirming the strong bonds of love and brotherhood between our two nations.”
