Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf announced on Monday that Algeria aims to elevate its trade volume with Türkiye to $10 billion.
This statement followed the third meeting of the Türkiye-Algeria Joint Planning Group in Algiers, co-chaired by Attaf and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Attaf highlighted the significant progress in bilateral relations, noting that mutual trade reached an unprecedented $6 billion last year.
He emphasized the commitment of both Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to reach the $10 billion target.
Attaf underscored Algeria’s diverse investment opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy and pharmaceuticals, stressing the need to overcome any obstacles hindering their strategic partnership and cooperation.
