Turkey’s Ambassador to Khartoum, Fatih Yildiz, has emphasized the crucial role of Turkish institutions in supporting Sudan amidst the ongoing conflict.
“Despite the challenging circumstances, including the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crisis, we are making every effort to convey the message that Turkey stands alongside the Sudanese people with all its institutions,” Ambassador Yildiz told Anadolu.
Highlighting the deep historical ties between the two countries, he emphasized that the embassy in Port Sudan, currently serving as the de facto administrative center of the country, plays a vital role in maintaining diplomatic relations and providing support to the Sudanese people.
“Our embassy encompasses a comprehensive representation, including military attaches, interior affairs, and education advisors,” Ambassador Yildiz stated.
