Aliyev discusses cooperation with Eswatini leader in Baku

President Ilham Aliyev conducted high-level diplomatic talks with Eswatini’s King Mswati III and Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto in Baku this Sunday.

The strategic meetings occurred on the sidelines of the prominent thirteenth session of the United Nations World Urban Forum.

During discussions with King Mswati III, Aliyev focused heavily on expanding bilateral ties through targeted energy and mining sector initiatives.

A separate session with President Ruto highlighted a shared commitment to defense industry development, agricultural advancement, and green energy investments.

Both leaders emphasized that recent reciprocal diplomatic visits have served as the foundation for significantly strengthening these emerging partnerships.

Marking his inaugural visit to Azerbaijan, the Kenyan president formally extended an invitation for Aliyev to visit East Africa soon.

Ruto praised the Azerbaijani leader for his continuous efforts to advance the delicate, ongoing peace agenda with neighboring Armenia.

Expressing gratitude for the endorsement, Aliyev reaffirmed that Azerbaijan remains dedicated to securing a lasting and stable regional peace agreement.
