Arabs furious over Israeli video of Al-Aqsa Mosque destruction

Arab countries have denounced an AI-generated video circulated by far-right Israeli platforms showing the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

The video, titled Next Year in Jerusalem, portrays the holy sites being replaced with a so-called Third Temple, sparking outrage across the Arab world.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the video as “a systematic provocation” aimed at inflaming attacks on Jerusalem’s Islamic and Christian heritage.

It accused Israel’s far-right leadership of advancing a Judaization agenda, emboldened by global inaction toward its actions in Gaza.

The ministry urged international institutions, including the UN, to take legal steps to halt such unilateral provocations under international law.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry labeled the video “racist and extremist incitement,” echoing concerns over increasing settler incursions into the sacred compound.

It reaffirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque, in its entirety, is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims under the custodianship of the Jordanian Islamic Waqf.

Qatar also condemned the video, warning it represents a “dangerous provocation” likely to ignite further violence amid the war in Gaza.
