GCC ministers hold talks with Egypt, Syria, Morocco and Jordan

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers will meet with their counterparts from Egypt, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to strengthen strategic ties and regional cooperation.

The meeting, scheduled for Thursday, will focus on enhancing collaboration across various sectors and addressing pressing regional and international developments.

GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi announced that the 163rd ministerial meeting will be chaired by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, with participation from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and Bahrain.

Discussions will center on implementing decisions from the GCC’s 45th summit and exploring strategic relations with global entities.

On the sidelines, GCC ministers will hold joint sessions with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

These meetings will prioritize enhancing strategic relations and joint cooperation to achieve mutual interests.

The ministers will also address regional and international issues of mutual concern, aiming to bolster security and stability in the region.
