
At least 96 Palestinians, including 27 aid seekers, were killed Saturday as Israeli airstrikes pounded multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
In Gaza City, a mother and her three children died in a strike on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street, near the Islamic University.
Further east, four women were killed and 10 civilians injured when a missile struck a home near Yaffa School in Al-Tuffah. A targeted attack in Sheikh Radwan killed three members of a single family, while two more died in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood. Seven civilians lost their lives in a strike near al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun area, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Eight Palestinians, including children, were killed in two drone strikes on gatherings in the Shati refugee camp, medical sources reported. Fifteen more perished in an airstrike on homes in Jabalia Al-Nazla, a northern town already reeling from earlier bombings.
In central Gaza, a child was killed near Al-Hassaina School, while a drone strike on a tent in Deir al-Balah took seven more lives. Two women died in an eastern Gaza City apartment strike, and three displaced civilians were killed near Al-Aqsa Hospital.
Eleven Palestinians, including children and a woman, were killed in Al-Mawasi near Khan Younis, where tents were bombed near the Kuwaiti Hospital. In Rafah, at least 27 people died and 180 were injured as Israeli troops fired on civilians awaiting aid, witnesses said.
Since May 27, Israeli fire has killed over 800 aid seekers and injured more than 5,200, Gaza’s media office reported.
Despite mounting international pressure, Israel continues its offensive, which has killed over 57,800 Palestinians since October 7, 2023. Israel faces war crimes charges at the International Criminal Court and a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
