Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine’s counter-offensive to regain territory has not been successful and that attempts to breach Russian defences have been unsuccessful.
Putin’s made the remarks in an interview with state television. Excerpts of the interview were released on Sunday.
The enemy’s attempts to break through our defence during the offensive were unsuccessful, Putin said.
