A ‘well known’ BBC presenter has been accused of paying a teenager for sexually explicit photographs, according to claims first reported by The Sun.
The unnamed male presenter allegedly paid the teenager over 35,000 pounds, for sexually explicit images.
The mother of the alleged recipient claims their child had used the cash to fund a crack habit.
The BBC says they’re currently investigating the claims, resulting in the presenter not being scheduled for upcoming broadcasts.
The teenager’s family initially complained to the BBC on May 19, expressing frustration that the presenter remained on air.
The family approached The Sun with their story, stating that they did not seek payment.
The report had several BBC reporters ruling themselves out on social media, in order not to be falsely accused which in turn has also lead to a bunch of memes circulating on Twitter, mocking the presenters.

Just to say I'm very much looking forward to hosting my radio show on Monday — whoever the “BBC Presenter” in the news is, I have the same message for you as Rylan did earlier: it certainly ain't me.
