Trump to speak with Netanyahu amid Gaza aid push, Iran talks

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to hold a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, two White House officials said, as Washington pushes for faster aid delivery to Gaza and renewed momentum in nuclear negotiations with Iran.

The conversation follows recent tensions between Trump and Netanyahu. Last week, Trump said he warned the Israeli leader against taking actions that could derail the fragile nuclear talks.

“I told him this would be inappropriate to do right now because we’re very close to a solution,” Trump said during a briefing. “That could change at any moment.”

Meanwhile, Iran announced it will soon deliver a formal response via Oman to a U.S. proposal on a potential nuclear deal, which Tehran previously rejected as “unacceptable.”
