Trump says oil will flow globally despite Iran stance

US President Donald Trump said oil would begin flowing globally with or without Iran’s cooperation on Thursday.

In a message posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump defended his administration’s foreign policy stance with sharp criticism of media coverage.

He targeted The Wall Street Journal, accusing its editorial board of misrepresenting his remarks and distorting his comments on Iran.

The newspaper, he said, wrongly suggested he had declared a premature victory regarding tensions and policy outcomes involving Tehran.

Trump insisted there was nothing premature about his position, describing the outcome instead as a clear and decisive victory.

He said his policies had ensured Iran would never obtain a nuclear weapon under any circumstances moving forward.

The president added that global oil flows would soon increase, regardless of Iran’s participation or political stance on energy exports.

He emphasized that the outcome would remain unchanged whether Iran cooperated or resisted broader international energy market dynamics.

Trump also accused the publication of long-standing bias, claiming it frequently criticizes but rarely acknowledges factual or strategic errors.

His remarks combined political defiance and economic assertion, framing energy markets as central to ongoing geopolitical tensions.
