Somali security forces reported that 7 members of the Al-Shabaab terrorist organization were eliminated in an operation. The Somali military stated that the operation took place in the Hiran region of the country.
During the operation in the El-Adde area of Hiran, 7 members of the organization were confirmed to have been killed.
Following Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmud’s announcement of extensive measures against Al-Shabaab, operations against the organization are ongoing.
