Libya’s interim Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibeh, announced that the Cabinet has approved granting a basic pension to special needs individuals, widows, and divorced women from the Palestinian community in Libya.
“This decision is aimed at showing appreciation for the Palestinian people and treating them like Libyan citizens,” al-Dbeibeh said.
The Cabinet also approved the continuation of the monthly stipend for Palestinian students in Libyan universities and institutes.
