Mass shooting shocks South Africa again, six guards killed

A horrific mass shooting has struck yet again in South Africa, leaving six security guards dead and four injured.

The incident occurred near Lugongozo Junior Secondary School in Tina Falls, just over a week after a similar tragedy in nearby Ngobozana.

Police believe at least eight armed men were responsible for the attack.

While the motive is still under investigation, authorities suspect it may be related to local conflicts or cattle theft.

National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola visited the scene and confirmed that six suspects have been identified, including three local residents.

The government has condemned the violence, vowing to bring the perpetrators to justice.

This latest shooting highlights the ongoing challenges with crime and violence in South Africa, which has one of the world’s highest per capita murder rates.

Calls for increased police presence and stricter gun control measures are growing louder in response to these tragic events.
