Missing Briton found dead in Kenya, two arrested

The body of Campbell Scott, a 58-year-old British businessman, was found in a forest on Monday after disappearing from Kenya’s capital earlier this month. The grim discovery was made in Makueni County, approximately 110 kilometers from Nairobi.

Scott had arrived in Nairobi on February 16 to attend a conference. He was last seen the following day leaving his hotel in Westlands. His sudden disappearance sparked widespread concern.

Local herders found his body in Makongo Forest, concealed inside a green sack. Early signs indicated significant decomposition, raising suspicion over the cause of death.

Authorities have arrested two individuals in connection with the case, including a taxi driver and a nightclub waiter. Both are being questioned as the investigation continues.

Kenyan police, working with Interpol, are focusing on the circumstances surrounding Scott’s death. An autopsy is scheduled to provide further details.

Initial findings suggest that Scott may have fallen victim to a robbery that turned violent. Investigators are pursuing every lead as they seek justice for the businessman.
