Pakistan’s Ambassador to Moscow Muhammad Khalil Jamali said that his country has officially applied for BRICS membership and is counting on Russia’s support in the membership process.
Speaking to the Russian TASS news agency, Jamali said Pakistan wants to be a part of such an important organization as BRICS.
Jamali said that his country has officially applied for BRICS membership and is counting on Russia’s support in the membership process, adding that they are in contact with other member countries to support Islamabad in this regard.
Ambassador Jamali said that his country plans to become a member of BRICS in 2024 under the Russian presidency.
