The Commander of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has met with Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed in Ethiopia for discussions on securing peace and stability in Sudan.
Dagalo’s visit to Ethiopia is part of an itinerary encompassing several allied and amicable nations, aimed at ending the conflict in Sudan.

He met with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni on Wednesday, as RSF completed its takeover of a cruicial central Sudanese city.
Since mid-April, the army led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo have been engaged in a war that has resulted in more than 12,000 deaths and over 7 million displaced and refugees, according to the United Nations.
In a display of increasing strength, the RSF last week took complete control of Wad Madani, a central city in Sudan.
