Joint projects at Morocco-Mauritania summit

Morocco and Mauritania have reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, security, and infrastructure.

The reaffirmation came during a meeting between King Mohammed VI and Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani at the Royal Palace in Casablanca.

Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral relations and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation.

The meeting also focused on regional initiatives, including the Afro-Atlantic gas pipeline project, which aims to connect Nigeria to Morocco through a network of pipelines across 13 African countries.
