
Chad’s Foreign Minister, Abderaman Koulamallah, met with Turkish Ambassador Cem Utkan to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the meeting focused on key areas such as economic cooperation, trade, agriculture, energy, and cultural exchange.
Both sides explored avenues to enhance bilateral trade, particularly by encouraging Turkish investment in Chad.
The meeting also addressed regional security issues and potential areas for cooperation.
Ambassador Utkan extended condolences to Chad on behalf of Turkey following a recent attack on the presidential palace in N’Djamena, which resulted in the deaths of 18 gunmen and one government official.
The Turkish Embassy in N’Djamena confirmed the meeting via a brief statement on social media, highlighting discussions on bilateral cooperation and international developments.
