Turkey and Zambia aim to boost agricultural ties

Turkey and Zambia are exploring deeper agricultural cooperation, focusing on mechanization and technology transfer.

Turkish Ambassador Huseyin Barbaros Dicle met with Zambian Agriculture Minister Reuben Phiri to discuss potential collaborations. 

The meeting emphasized Turkey’s role in providing advanced agricultural technology to Zambia.   

Zambia, possessing rich agricultural land, faces challenges due to climate change, necessitating modern farming techniques.

Turkey’s expertise offers a strategic opportunity for Zambia to diversify and expand its agricultural sector, addressing its needs for year-round farming solutions.
