Putin said Russian tourism to Seychelles is rising, now accounting for at least fifteen percent of arrivals.
He added there is potential to expand visitor numbers and praised favorable conditions created for Russian citizens there.
Putin said government and central bank representatives joined discussions focused on developing cooperation in the tourism sector.
He noted Seychelles participation in the Russia-Africa Summit and expressed hope for high-level attendance at the next meeting.
Putin congratulated Herminie on his presidential election victory and welcomed his successful campaign in Seychelles.
Herminie thanked Russia for energy supplies, citing support during Middle East tensions and ongoing regional conflict pressures.
He praised Aeroflot for sustaining tourism flows while noting a forty percent decline after regional airline disruptions.
He said airlines including Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad suspended flights, sharply reducing tourist arrivals to Seychelles.
