It was reported that 16 people died in a bus accident in Kaduna state of Nigeria.
Nigerian National Road Safety Kaduna State Director Kabir Nadabo stated in a statement that a passenger bus fell into a pit on the Kaduna-Kano highway.
Nadabo noted that 16 people lost their lives and 4 people were injured in the accident.
Stating that the health condition of some of the wounded under treatment is serious, Nadabo reported that there is concern that the death toll may increase.
