Burhan’s airstrike on mosque kills many in Sudan

A tragic incident occurred in Khartoum on Friday when a General Abdel Fattah al Burhan-controlled SAF’s airstrike targeted a mosque, resulting in the deaths of at least seven civilians.

The attack, which took place during prayer time, has further exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

Burhan-led army and the rival Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been engaged in a civil war since April 2023, leading to widespread displacement, destruction of infrastructure, and a severe humanitarian crisis.

The international community has expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence and urged both parties to cease hostilities and engage in meaningful dialogue.

However, the conflict shows no signs of abating, and the suffering of the Sudanese people continues.
