The foreign ministers of France and Egypt have firmly opposed any plan that forces the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
Jean-Noel Barrot and Badr Abdelatty discussed the Middle East crisis on Thursday during the International Conference on Syria in Paris.
The French Foreign Ministry stated that both ministers rejected any solution leading to forced displacement, calling it a grave violation of international law.
They warned that such an action could destabilize neighboring countries and escalate regional tensions, worsening the already dire humanitarian situation.
Barrot and Abdelatty pledged to collaborate with international partners to ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza without obstruction.
They emphasized the need for a comprehensive reconstruction plan that addresses governance and security for the post-conflict period.
Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump has suggested resettling Palestinians from Gaza in Egypt, Jordan, and other nations.
Trump also proposed turning Gaza into a US-controlled tourist destination, a vision that has sparked international criticism.
The plan has faced strong opposition from Arab nations and the broader international community, who reject any forced removal of Palestinians.
